We're looking for a commercially minded leader with a strong background in parts management, combined with experience overseeing warehouse operations.
You'll be passionate about building high-performing teams, improving processes, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities Parts Operations Lead the overall performance of the Parts Department, ensuring exceptional support for workshop operations and customer requirements.
Develop effective stock planning and procurement strategies to maximise availability while optimising inventory levels.
Manage supplier relationships, pricing strategies, purchasing and inventory performance.
Drive improvements in parts availability, service levels and operational efficiency.
Work closely with workshop and service teams to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise productivity.
Warehouse Operations Oversee all warehouse functions, including goods receiving, storage, inventory control and dispatch.
Ensure accurate stock management through robust inventory controls and regular stock reconciliation.
Improve warehouse processes, logistics and operational performance.
Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries while maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure all warehouse activities operate in line with health and safety and regulatory requirements.
Leadership Lead, coach and develop the Parts and Warehouse teams to deliver outstanding performance.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Monitor departmental performance through operational and financial KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, inventory controls and operational standards.
Key requirements Significant experience leading a parts operation, ideally within automotive, heavy equipment or a related industry.
Experience managing or overseeing warehouse and inventory operations.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer service, operational efficiency and financial performance.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
A continuous improvement mindset with experience delivering operational change.
