Pay Rate $30 per hour.
Shift Details M-F, 40 hours per week, TBD.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance.
Minimum 5 years of experience compiling and computing data according to statistical formulas for use in data analytic and/or statistical studies.
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Proof of eligibility to work in NYS.
Responsibilities
Compile and compute data according to statistical formulas for use in data analysis and/or statistical studies.
Prepare business analytics and assist in preparing data governance metrics and reporting.
Conduct research and analysis of data at DFS, its definitions and usage, system flows, and key challenges and opportunities.
Assist in preparation of reports, as needed.
Assist with administration of governance forum(s), as needed.
Develop documentation including reference guides, how-to(s), summaries, reports, meeting minutes, etc.
Collaborate closely with data stakeholders across DFS to drive decision-making processes and facilitate discussions to address conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements.
Other duties as assigned.
Telecommuting may be allowed at the discretion of the hiring manager. The Department does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by mass transit.
