ABCO Engineering, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates with a current professional certification as a professional engineer (PE) or ability to become a professional engineer within 12 months (EIT). ABCO is a Civil and Geotechnical Engineering design firm. Successful candidates will have interest in performing civil and geotechnical engineering and project management. Work tasks include calculations, drawing preparation, field investigations and report preparation. Interacting daily with clients and regulating authorities is required. Strong technical and communications skills are important.
Requirements:
Understands engineering principles and has studied engineering curriculum and be familiar with at least general civil or geotechnical projects. A track record of independent project management is a must. A solid Auto CADD background is preferred. Must be fluent with Microsoft Word and Excel and have knowledge of basic PDF editing software.
Candidate must be a team player, polite, have a strong work ethic, be level-headed, and have ability to govern themselves, be willing to seek help as needed, and be willing to master new skills. Candidate must be capable of prioritizing and managing several tasks simultaneously. Candidate must also be willing to be flexible with hours and job duties in our fast-paced work environment.
Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
