Plan, develop, and support data network technology solutions, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, data center, and remote office routers and switches.
Install, configure, and maintain network routers, switches, and appliances.
Manage IP addressing design, network routing policy, DNS, DHCP, and NTP services.
Perform regular IOS, NX‑OS firmware and software updates.
Monitor network equipment and connection availability, performance, and capacity.
Implement redundant, diverse, and resilient equipment and routing design solutions using Cisco Meraki and Nexus.
Administer the Cisco Meraki dashboard and reporting system.
Provision, deploy, and maintain Meraki WAPs and access switches throughout the lifecycle.
Monitor, manage, and support carrier services, vendors, and WAN services.
Manage and administer security‑defined NAC profiles and policies for authentication and user access support.
Provide technical support to the Service Desk and handle daily incidents and requests related to networking.
Participate in 24/7 on‑call coverage as required.
Key Requirements
Strong understanding of network fundamentals, IP address management, and dynamic routing protocols.
Strong knowledge of network authentication, DNS, DHCP, and NTP.
Basic ability to configure network equipment connections and route/switch protocol standards.
Familiarity with various network hardware and operating systems and troubleshooting.
Foundational knowledge of networking logic design – routing domains, switching, and logical configuration.
Excellent customer service, communication, and collaboration skills.
Annual salary range for this position is approximately $76,000 to $90,000 for Network Engineer II and $90,000 to $115,000 for Network Engineer III based on skills, experience, education, certifications, performance, and market demand.
