Our client, a leading organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a QA Analyst to join their Cyber Data Operations team supporting the development and maintenance of Cyber Data Dashboards and Cyber Data Warehouse systems. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Job Title : QA Analyst
Location : Charlotte, NC
Pay Range : W2 only
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on detailed business and technical requirements.
Perform manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance phases to ensure system reliability.
Document defects clearly, collaborate with developers to resolve issues, and verify fixes to maintain high-quality standards.
Ensure traceability of requirements and maintain thorough test documentation to support project transparency and accountability.
Participate actively in agile scrum calls, providing feedback on system usability and stability, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
Strong testing of data pipelines within a Databricks environment.
Explain test scenarios for ETL/ELT jobs.
Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, and data outlier detection.
Qualifications
7‑10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or business systems analysis, preferably within financial services or banking sectors.
Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA; experience with Confluence is advantageous.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile or Scrum frameworks.
Excellent communication and documentation skills to articulate issues and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to analyze and scrub data effectively.
