Business Development Manager €60,000€65,000 base in ROI / £45,000£50,000 in NI, plus €15,000€25,000 OTE, company car, healthcare, pension, and full expenses. The Company Our client is a market leading manufacturer of electrical products with a strong presence across Ireland and the UK. They are recognised as a number one player in their space, supplying technically advanced solutions into demanding environments with a particular strength in healthcare and critical infrastructure. With a long-established track record in the market, the business has built an outstanding reputation for product quality, technical capability, and long-term customer support. Their solutions include UPS systems, medical IT systems, electrical safety, and monitoring technologies. The Role This is a nationwide business development role covering all 32 counties, with an ideal base along the DublinBelfast corridor, though other locations will be considered. The role offers a hybrid setup with a mixture of your time out on the road and working from home, and monthly visits to the head office in NI. You will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing accounts across the Irish market, selling a technical solution through electrical contractors and into public healthcare settings. This is a structured 50/50 new business and account management role, focused on building a strong pipeline and creating long-term growth. Key responsibilities include: Developing and growing relationships with electrical contractors, technical teams, procurement, and end users. Generating new business opportunities across the Irish market. Managing and developing key accounts including major contractors and the HSE. Working closely with internal technical teams to deliver the right solution for each customer. Representing a trusted, premium technical brand in a consultative sales environment. The role is live due to a previous growth hire not working out, so the client is keen to move quickly for the right person. The Person You will ideally come from a sales background selling to electrical contractors, wholesalers, or technically led customers. A strong understanding of the electrical market and a hunter mentality will be important. The client is looking for someone who is: Commercially sharp and technically minded. Strong at building relationships with electrical contractors and technical stakeholders. Comfortable in a structured but proactive business development role. Energetic, driven, and able to work independently. Someone with the right attitude and work ethic to succeed in a technical sales cycle. The Package Base salary of €60,000€65,000 in ROI. Base salary of £45,000£50,000 in NI. €15,000€25,000 OTE. Company car. Mobile and laptop. Healthcare. 25 days holiday. 6% employer pension. Expenses covered. Location Nationwide coverage across 32 counties, with an ideal base on the DublinBelfast corridor.
