You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager and work out of our Northford, CT location on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Be involved with all phases of design from concept to deployment
Be part of a multi-discipline engineering team developing exciting new life safety products for the connected world
Collaborate with engineers and developers from around the globe
Work in an Agile environment & create stories in Jira
Attend daily scrum meetings
Develop code and verify functionality of the coding
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree
1+ years of embedded firmware development and/or troubleshooting
Desired Skills
Ability to collaborate with a team
Embedded C experience
RTOS experience
Embedded Linux development, HMI development and boot‑loader experience
Advanced computer knowledge (networking/communications/troubleshooting)
Cyber security knowledge
Experience with JIRA, JIRA Agile, Bamboo and Agile practices
Experience bringing up and troubleshooting new hardware
Master's degree (desirable)
Salary and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $73,900 - $90,000.
