Overview As part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, we are focused on delivering intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that solve enduring business challenges. Amazon Connect is an AI‑powered customer experience solution that enables superior outcomes at a lower cost. The Connector and Mobile team’s goal is to extend Amazon Connect Customer’s capabilities to mobile, making it the platform of choice for seamless interactions across any device and communication channel, empowering end customers with AI‑driven self‑service experiences while providing workers mobile‑native tools to deliver exceptional service from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
Design and code solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high‑quality software.
Apply creativity, responsibility, and deep knowledge of emerging serverless AWS technologies.
Consider business opportunities, operational issues, architectural diagrams, scalability, security, and the customer perspective throughout development.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ year of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
