The posted compensation range of $56.13 - $83.49 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Manager of Perioperative Services, you will provide comprehensive leadership and operational oversight for all perioperative phases, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient surgical care. Your role optimizes patient outcomes and staff performance. Every day you will manage multidisciplinary teams, optimize surgical schedules, oversee resource allocation, and implement best practices to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency. You will also monitor financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement. To be successful, you need extensive perioperative clinical/leadership experience, a deep understanding of surgical processes, and exceptional interpersonal/problem-solving skills. Your ability to inspire staff, manage challenges, and align services strategically will be paramount in fostering excellence and achieving superior surgical outcomes.

  • Responsible for the coordination of patient flow throughout the perioperative services areas from admission to discharge.
  • Consults in a variety of patient care situations requiring advanced competency and knowledge.
  • Serves as a clinical resource for problem solving and Assists staff with patient related issues.
  • Serves as a role model to develop staff competence in the delivery of nursing care.
  • Responsible for cost effective operations and initiatives, including product evaluation, prevention of waste & damage, materials management, patient flow, control of overtime, & appropriate staff mix.
  • Able to provide safe, quality care directly to a surgical patient as needed.

Required

  • Bachelors Other Starting in January of 2016, any new hires should have:*Bachelor's Degree and and minimum of 3 years leadershipexperience, upon hire or
  • 4-6 years or minimum of 5 years leadership experience in thediscipline, upon hire or
  • Masters Other and with no experience., upon hire and
  • Registered Nurse, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
