Network Engineer Lead Job Responsibilities: Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed. Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of network systems across data centers, cloud platforms, and hybrid environments. Establishes and enforces enterprise-wide networking standards, policies, and procedures in collaboration with other technical leaders. Oversees performance monitoring, capacity planning, and proactive issue resolution to minimize downtime and disruptions. Directs vulnerability management, patching, and compliance efforts to maintain secure and resilient network operations. Guides the evaluation, testing, and adoption of emerging networking technologies to meet evolving business needs. Serves as the primary technical authority during disaster recovery and business continuity planning, exercises, and execution. Provides mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to team members, fostering professional growth and technical excellence. Leads cross-functional collaboration with application, server, and security teams to resolve complex issues impacting system availability. Communicates infrastructure status, risks, and project outcomes to IT leadership and executive stakeholders. Oversees documentation of network architecture, implementation plans, recovery procedures, and operational standards. Drives continuous improvement initiatives by researching industry trends and recommending cost/performance enhancements. Ensures compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and federal/state regulations related to networking and data security. Serves as an escalation point for urgent and complex network issues, coordinating resources and ensuring timely resolution. Aligns network operations and projects with organizational goals, patient safety requirements, and long-term growth strategies.
Minimum Requirements: Education:
Bachelor's degree
OR
4 additional years of relevant experience Experience : 10+ years enterprise networking Strong Aruba platform mastery Proven leadership and cross-functional coordination Deep security and compliance experience
