Electro-Mechanical Assembler, AFTERNOON SHIFT Schedule: 9/80 - Afternoon shift
Perform electrical/mechanical assembly on sub-assemblies to required quality and quantity outputs Perform rework/repair on Printed Circuit Boards including THT and SMT hand soldering Perform rework/repair on Wire Harness Assemblies Perform some optical assembly by fitting, cleaning and testing
Knowledge/Certification of IPC 620, 610, 7711, 7721 an asset Knowledge and understanding of Electrical schematics and assembly drawings Thorough understanding of techniques in the use of hand tools, soldering, crimping, wire routing, mechanical assembly and hazardous materials covered under WHIMIS Mechanical aptitude for assembling major Electrical/Optical components Hands-on experience in cable and harness assembly Experience with THT and SMT soldering techniques Mechanical assembly experience is an asset Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Community College Diploma in Electronics
