Job Description IronCAD is a leading technology company focused on developing innovative solutions for the engineering and product design community. We are seeking highly motivated, self-starters who are able to take on the challenge of ensuring the quality of our next generation of desktop and cloud-based applications for 3D product design, visualization, and collaboration. The current position may be for a contract (hourly) or permanent basis, depending on the candidate. Required Skills and Experience Four-year or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field. Prior experience as software engineer or software QA/Test engineer. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and testing processes including: writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user requirements. Demonstrable familiarity working in scripting and/or programming languages. Demonstrable ability to analyze problems logically and articulate solutions in a clear manner. Demonstrable ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks. Attention to detail, pride in delivering quality work on time, and demonstrable organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Employment Authorization for U.S.A. Responsibilities Successful candidate will be able to eventually lead a comprehensive Quality Assurance program within the company. Specific responsibilities will include: Developing comprehensive test plans for product release. Transforming functional specifications and Use Cases into detailed test cases and test scripts. Creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts. Performing some manual testing of products. Collection and analysis of Quality Metrics to quantify the state of each product release.
