Position Overview Impact Workforce Solutions is hiring for True Value Distribution Center in Springfield, OR. The Systems Administrator Supervisor supports, analyzes, and evaluates Regional Distribution Center (RDC) business systems and user needs.
The Systems Administrator with Supervisor experience will focus on the Warehouse Management System, Automated Distributions System (ADS). Provides support for existing Logistics applications and assists RDC Operations Managers in the coordination and implementation of tactical projects, including ADS leveraged and distribution optimization projects. Requires coordination of distribution systems and operations.
Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
Manages and supports the Automated Distribution System (ADS) for a regional distribution center. Responsible for system configuration, system functionality covering all aspects of warehousing operations from receiving, stocking, order picking, replenishment prioritization, inventory cycle counting, delivery and labor standards.
Directs and implements ADS functional modules designed to optimize RDC operational efficiencies. Performs problem resolution in the areas of system functionality, operating software, and the hardware elements within ADS.
Analyzes and researches the RDC Inbound and Outbound operations for the purpose of improving the process flows within the ADS environment, working with RDC management teams to facilitate productivity and efficiencies.
Analyzes, evaluates, and effectively communicates user requests and proposed business system changes. Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with RDC management team.
Works with RDC management team to optimize the physical layout of the RDC, including bin sizing, section design, and the associated coordination, scheduling, and tracking. Manages associates assigned to these projects; reconfigures system requirements to coordinate with changes.
Manages the inventory of ADS equipment, coordinating repairs, troubleshooting issues with handheld devices.
Responsible for ongoing training of the Warehouse Management System (ADS) for all associates.
Meets regularly with the RDC Operations Manager to review and discuss new projects and assignments. Report’s status of existing projects and assignments.
Meets with peer Systems Administrators to develop ADS opportunities and address problem resolution. In addition, is responsible for periodic WEBINAR presentations.
Manages workflows, within the office, to support warehouse performance.
Supervises, supports, and reviews associate performance in the department.
Works closely with Operations Manager, Superintendent, Traffic Manager and Associates to ensure quality, accuracy of daily tasks and completion of projects on time.
Works directly with Associates to establish and foster an atmosphere of high employee morale through an active, fair and consistent implementation of policy and procedure.
Actively involved in employee training and cross-training.
Follows-up on Member and Corporate communications to answer questions or concerns they may have.
Fosters an environment of cooperation and commitment to continuous improvement.
Works with Vendors for Services and Office Supplies.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years of experience, preferably in Communication, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Technology.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of query development, distribution database structure, and Warehouse Management Systems (ADS).

Work Environment: Generally, works in climate‑controlled office environment, but may require visits to facilities where air conditioning may not be available and/or be exposed to chemicals that may be routinely present within the RDC’s.
Travel may vary in length and duration.
