Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) to join our team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Alice Manor, a premier long-term care facility located in Baltimore, Maryland. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a warm and welcoming environment where our residents receive high-quality care and attention.

As a Geriatric Nurse Assistant at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Alice Manor, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and individualized care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
• Assisting with meal preparation and serving residents
• Monitoring residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services

* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

* Participate in resident activities and recreational programs

* Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols and reporting any concerns to the supervisor

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or certification as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA)

* 1+ year of experience as a CNA or GNA in a long-term care setting

* Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
