Role: Data Engineer Location: San Jose, California, United States Duration: 1 year Description We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 5 to 8 years of hands‑on experience in AWS and Python, with familiarity in AEP development being advantageous. The ideal candidate should possess a robust understanding of AWS integration with Adobe, along with strong proficiency in SQL and Python. Additionally, knowledge of JavaScript and various web development technologies such as Java JEE, Spring, TDD, and related frameworks would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
Lead and participate in full-cycle AEP implementations using version 6.4 AEM or superior, with client-provided onboarding and certification for AEP.
Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support AEP development tasks.
Utilize robust understanding of SQL and database concepts to design and optimize data schemas and queries.
Apply strong AWS skills, including IAM, S3, EC2, EMR, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc., for AEP deployment and management.
Adapt and contribute to projects utilizing Apache Airflow, with the ability to learn quickly with minimal guidance.
Demonstrate technical proficiency in Apache Sling, Adobe Launchpad, AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM Forms.
Implement and optimize CSS styling, leveraging knowledge of CSS frameworks (Bootstrap) and preprocessors (SASS, LESS).
Embrace Agile development methodologies to ensure timely delivery of AEP solutions.
Demonstrate excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration within the team.
Work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve project objectives.
Skills
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and database concepts.
Strong AWS skills, including IAM, S3, EC2, EMR, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.
Strong proficiency in connector types provided with the Adobe Experience Platform.
Nice to have: Knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform development, including AEM Apache Sling, Adobe Launchpad, AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM Forms, as well as CSS.
