We are looking for a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering advance our best practices for integrating and monetizing Marketplace partners including Data Partners, Agencies and Curation services. This team is responsible for working in a cross-functional team to build out and standardize best practices for integrating, working with partners, optimizing, improving performance, and setting benchmarks for future development of this business arm. We are looking for someone with:

Here's what you'll be doing:

Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering will oversee a team based in AMS who are looking after partners in the complete lifecycle of a Marketplace customer from technical validation pre-contract and supporting our sales team in technical pitches, including onboarding and integration project management, through to daily management, strategic planning and continue to find opportunities to grow the client's business with Index Exchange. You will:

  • Be present for your team consistently, providing coaching feedback and support for their career growth on a regular occurrence. Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Support your team through yearly performance cycles. Develop junior members of the team, and create career plans for each of your team.
  • Developing a deep technical understanding of Index's product offerings to participate in experimentation, release, and development, and building of new features. Support your team in understanding how products are developed and the required levels of participation
  • Contributing to our strategic working groups by providing them with insight into opportunities to improve our current offerings. Work to create your own area of SME within the TAM organization.
  • Serve as a consultant to strategic marketplace partners, not limited to QBRs, scoping calls, leading technical solutioning to address their business challenges, objectives, and identify opportunities.
  • Support your team where needed and participating in tech scoping calls, leading client technical conversations, QBRs
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends, integration protocols, technical specs and updated and document best practices accordingly.
  • Define playbooks for internal and external teams to execute on integrate and migrate new and existing partners to new product offerings.
  • Ensure documentation both internal and external are maintained and updated.
  • Working with our developers to build new tools to improve operational efficiency and troubleshooting
  • Perform operational tasks, performance monitoring, escalated troubleshooting, supporting customers to build on top of our APIs and utilize Salesforce to ensure tracking and all account information is consistently updated and maintained
  • Regional travel to connect with team members and clients will be expected.
  • An escalation point of contact for our internal teams for technical issues, product related questions, and implementation best practices
Here's what you need:
  • 7+ years' experience working within Ad-Tech at an Ad Exchange, SSP, DSP, or related media and entertainment content owners (Film Studios, Broadcast Networks, Cable Networks, Affiliate Media), OTT content distributors (SVOD, AVOD, FAST apps), and/or CTV OEMs, or adserver/Mediation partners (Publica, Spring Serve, Freewheel) in a Senior Technical role
  • 2-3+ years Pervious experience leading a team, or coaching.
  • Advanced knowledge of Open RTB specifications and requirements related to "deals," DSP / Adserver methodologies across all channels / formats
  • Ability to understand Rest API documentations and use related API services
  • Expert Knowledge of SQL, JSON, and experience querying complex datasets to view trends, identify anomalies, and diagnose root causes.
  • Advanced problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn and scrape KAFKA topics and parse Audit log data.
  • Experience managing large projects with multiple cross functional stakeholders in different global regions.
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, and outside the box
  • Strong attention to detail and professional work ethic
  • A proficiency for data-driven decision making
  • Ability to work in both collaborative and independent settings while remaining responsible, enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated
  • In depth knowledge of the online advertising industry including technology solutions, advertising/publisher and network business models, technical understanding of ad serving, media trading, RTB and/or related advertising technology

Nice to Have:

  • Buy side and campaign optimization knowledge
  • Familiarity with Kafka and other data streaming technologies a plus
  • Familiarity with BI (Business Intelligence) tools like Looker and Redash
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a persuasive and success-driven personality
  • Automation and scripting experience
Salary:

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $200,000. The total compensation package may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job related knowledge, skills and experience.
