EUC Systems Administrator II at Christus Health Christus Health has an opening for a EUC Systems Administrator II in San Antonio. This role focuses on maintaining the end‑user computing infrastructure, including desktops, mobile devices, and virtual environments.
Summary The Information Technology Engineer II – End User Computing (EUC) is responsible for the full lifecycle management of the EUC systems, including design, implementation, and support. The candidate will manage user‑facing resources such as:
desktop and notebook computers
desktop operating systems and applications
smartphones, tablets, wearables and other mobile devices
mobile, web and cloud applications
virtual desktops and applications
Responsibilities
Analyze and resolve personal computer–related issues, contacting vendors or other teams as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies.
Use existing tools, standards, methodologies, and processes; understand relationships to other systems.
Analyze data to keep schedules and user/technical populations current.
Develop schedules and plans for endpoint transitions, ensuring services/devices remain available.
Adjust schedules as business needs evolve.
Create and maintain standard documentation for EUC processes.
Anticipate and adapt to changes in processes.
Prepare, develop, and provide end‑user training when applicable.
Participate in a published on‑call rotation (24×7 availability).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Ability to manage shifting priorities efficiently.
Self‑motivated with strong time‑management skills.
3–5 years of end‑user device support experience (desktops, laptops, mobile, virtualization of applications and desktops).
Experience in healthcare is a plus.
Technical writing skills for support documentation.
Current certification in Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare, or related technologies.
Work Schedule 5 days per week – 8 hours per day.
Work Type Full time.
