The Work Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices‑based architecture and cutting‑edge technologies.
Responsibilities
Utilize a test framework to execute manual and automated tests.
Author tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright.
Knowledgeable in microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, Agile methodology.
Execute load, performance, chaos, functional, and end‑to‑end testing.
Engage in Agile development and delivery of software.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Desired Skills (1+ of the below)
Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium; tools: Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)
Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, Ansible
Other: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, GitLab, Jira
Requirements A bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience. An associate’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 13 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in‑depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Certifications count as a year of experience.
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. The degree can be waived for technical experience in domain skillsets outlined in the requisition posting. Certifications count as a year of experience.
Capabilities
Proficient in software development process.
Programming.
Practice software quality through tools and processes.
Develop software solutions.
Design, develop, modify code to support system requirements.
Assist in developing innovative approaches.
Capabilities can be waived through in‑depth experience that is clearly outlined in the position requisition.
Compensation Salary range: $78,000 to $250,000 per year. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate’s location, role, skill set, and level of expertise.
