As a network engineer on our team, you will use your expertise in network design and architecture, system interoperability, routing and switching, IP engineering, network transport layers, multiprotocol label switching, gateway protocol, and virtual routing and forwarding. You will upgrade or develop enterprise‑wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze current working infrastructures, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission‑critical network systems. Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will help optimize client operations and modernization. In addition, your experience in cryptographic equipment, cryptography, key management, and firewalls will enable you to serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission‑critical projects. Through technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you will impact national security missions.
You Have:
5+ years of experience in the design, implementation, and operation of a geographically dispersed network, including LAN or WAN connections and circuits
3+ years of experience managing and operating Cisco VoIP, and securing and hardening network technologies
Knowledge of DoD network deployments, STIGs, and IA compliance standards
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams
Top Secret clearance
High school diploma or GED
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
CompTIA Security+ or ISC2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with network accreditation and security compliance processes
Knowledge of cloud networking such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Ability to assist in all aspects of network management, from design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing systems
Bachelor’s degree in a CS, IT, or Engineering field
ISC2 Systems Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of the total compensation package.
