As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software solutions that support Siemens Healthineers’ Molecular Imaging Research & Development organization. You will work closely with global engineering teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to develop tools and workflows that enhance software development efficiency and enable the delivery of advanced medical imaging solutions.
This role is well suited for an ambitious early‑career software professional seeking to grow within a collaborative and innovation‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
Developing, testing, and deploying software applications supporting the internal Molecular Imaging R&D organization.
Collaborating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to gather requirements and evaluate implementation approaches.
Developing proof‑of‑concept solutions to improve software developer workflows and DevOps capabilities.
Supporting and enhancing developer tooling using Azure DevOps, Git, Artifactory, and related DevOps platforms.
Partnering with globally distributed teams across Knoxville, Hoffman Estates, Germany, and India to deliver aligned solutions.
Contributing to software development activities within Microsoft development environments and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Participating in Agile development processes while supporting multiple concurrent projects.
Supporting continuous integration and delivery processes to improve software quality and deployment efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Working within cloud‑based development environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Supporting or developing CI/CD infrastructure and building automation processes.
Collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver customer‑focused solutions.
Working within Agile teams operating across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
Learning new tools, technologies, and R&D processes in a fast‑paced innovative environment.
Working within healthcare or other regulated development environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
0–3 years of professional experience in software development.
Proficiency in C#; experience with Java, Angular, or similar technologies is a plus.
Compensation The base pay range for this position is: $76,330 - $104,951
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
