CURRENT LOCATION: District Wide
HOURS: 7.5 hours per day
SALARY RANGE: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 starting salary
ANTICIPATED START DATE: ASAP
An employee of this class performs information technology-related duties, both independently and under supervision. The incumbent may perform work that is part of the regular routine of the department but they may also assist in special projects or emergency system troubleshooting as needed.
Performs specific information technology-related duties that will vary with each position assignment and according to the department to which assigned;
Provides assistance to end-users experiencing technical issues, troubleshoot the issues and provide solutions as necessary;
Supports an organization’s technology infrastructure.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EITHER: Possession of at least a Master’s Degree in computer science or closely-related field;
Six (6) years of work experience in information technology.
Working knowledge of modern information technology terminology;
Working knowledge of computers, networks, software and peripheral equipment;
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions;
Ability to provide excellent customer service and support to users.
