Job Summary Comcast is hiring a retail sales associate to engage customers, showcase and sell Comcast Xfinity products, and deliver outstanding customer service. The role involves meeting sales targets, customer onboarding, and issue resolution with moderate supervision, requiring schedule flexibility and adherence to company standards. Responsibilities Engage customers with enthusiasm, demonstrating and explaining product features to enhance their shopping experience. Provide outstanding customer service and interact with customers in the store. Meet or exceed sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction through diligent follow‑up and service excellence. Help customers interpret and clarify their account statements and pay their bills in the store. Answer questions about current or new services, make changes to account data, upgrade service levels, and process all general service requests. Act as a brand ambassador to promote Comcast/Xfinity products. Maintain expert-level knowledge of technology, especially Comcast products and services. Maintain detailed sales product knowledge, including competitive information. Create a fun and competitive environment that connects products and services to customers’ everyday lifestyles. Adhere to retail operational policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent and professional store environment. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Ability to carry and/or lift 25‑pound items and move around the store continuously. High school education / GED (Required). 2–5 years of relevant work experience. Communication, critical thinking, problem‑solving, customer‑focused, persuasion, professional integrity, resilience, self‑motivation, teamwork, technical knowledge, and workplace organization. Benefits and Compensation Base pay: $17.00 per hour. Total target compensation (base pay plus targeted commission): $24.69 per hour. Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve sales targets.
