Position Summary The Network Lead shall oversee the design, administration, optimization, security, and sustainment of enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission operations across multiple facilities and environments for a major IT services contract for the U.S. Army.
Key Responsibilities
Lead network engineering and operations activities.
Manage LAN/WAN, wireless, VoIP, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Oversee routing, switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network monitoring systems.
Ensure high availability and secure network operations.
Support network modernization and optimization initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve network outages and performance issues.
Develop network diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation.
Coordinate network security compliance and vulnerability remediation.
Support classified and unclassified network operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of network engineering experience.
Experience with network security technologies and monitoring tools.
Experience supporting DoD or Army enterprise networks.
Preferred Qualifications
CCNP or higher certification.
Experience supporting classified networks.
Security Clearance
Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
