Job Description:
Quevera is seeking a highly skilled
Backend Software Developer
with an active
TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
to support mission-critical programs in
Annapolis Junction, Maryland . In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex backend software systems that support secure, high-performance applications for critical national security missions.
Working alongside a collaborative engineering team, you will design, develop, test, and integrate software solutions while supporting Agile development processes and maintaining high standards of software quality. You'll contribute to technical documentation, support cloud-based applications, and collaborate with system engineers to deliver reliable and scalable backend solutions.
As a Backend Software Developer, you'll have the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges, contribute to innovative software development efforts, and support the delivery of mission-critical enterprise applications.
Work Schedule:
Telework:
Up to 16 hours per week. Telework availability is dependent upon sprint tasking and program requirements. Job Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance complex backend software systems based on documented requirements. Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements. Design, develop, test, and modify software to add new features and improve system performance. Debug existing software, resolve defects, and implement corrective actions. Integrate software components into new or existing system environments. Develop software solutions by collaborating with system engineers and analyzing system performance, data flow, and user requirements. Develop and execute test procedures to verify software functionality and quality. Write and maintain software and system documentation. Develop simple database queries and support software integration with existing data repositories. Recommend improvements to software development processes, documentation, and quality control practices. Minimum Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required. Experience supporting the development and execution of test procedures for software components. Experience generating technical documentation. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience using Jira and Confluence.
