Overview The Business Systems Administrator is a core part of a growing performance and tooling team, serving as the subject matter expert on the operation and configuration of our UKG Pro Workforce Management (Dimensions) system. This hands‑on contributor maintains internal IT workflows, manages software configurations, and collaborates cross‑functionally to meet evolving business needs. Beyond core system administration, this role offers the opportunity to grow technically by designing low‑code solutions, automating workflows, and manipulating data to support internal applications, dashboards, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Be the subject‑matter expert on the operation and configuration of our UKG Pro Workforce Management system.
Gather system changes needed by other teams, determine the best way to set them up, and keep the system organized.
Stay up to date with UKG updates, recommend new features to implement, and handle the rollout, including training the users.
Identify ways to improve or automate tasks within the system to make it easier for employees to use.
Administrate and maintain other internal IT setups, such as Google Workspace email accounts, groups, and access requests.
Work and communicate directly with cross‑functional teams that use these tools, including payroll, operations, finance, and HR.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and assign incoming system maintenance and support requests.
Provide regular tech support and first‑level troubleshooting for users facing issues with our software tools.
Complete data analysis and build simple reports to help teams see operational trends and make business decisions.
Collaborate with the Product and Data team to plan, build, and deploy new internal tools and workflows, including assisting with technical development, low‑code automations, and end‑user rollouts.
Support internal dashboards and tracking applications, with the opportunity to grow technical skills outside of UKG by gathering user feedback, querying data, and using basic scripting to improve and automate workflows.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Business, or Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
3+ years of experience maintaining software systems, with a strong focus on enterprise tools (specifically UKG Pro Workforce Management).
Experience pulling data and creating basic reports.
Familiarity with how different software tools connect and share data with one another.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical fixes to non‑technical users.
Experience implementing or maintaining SaaS tools preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Strong Google Workspace proficiency (especially Google Sheets and Apps Script).
Ability to work independently to accomplish an extensive project roadmap.
Deep understanding of spreadsheet functions and formulas.
Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs.
Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent presentation skills.
Ability to organize and perform work efficiently; strong attention to details.
Strong team mentality.
Ability to own either all, or part of a project or process.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
Travel up to 10% of the time.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced constantly evolving environment.
Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, sitting; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear; need for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Most work is accomplished indoors, and the employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
Pre‑Employment Requirements
All employees must satisfactorily complete a pre‑employment drug screen and background check. Safety‑Sensitive Positions will also be subject to a physical screening.
Transdev maintains a drug‑free workplace and may require participation in a random drug screening program.
Transdev reserves the right to perform ongoing background checks for all employees except in states where this is prohibited by state law. Transdev will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements.
Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record suitable to being approved to drive as part of their regular duties. Records are monitored on an ongoing or regular basis pursuant to local state law.
Ability to qualify for an Autonomous Vehicle Tester (AVT) license in states and positions where it’s required.
