Job Overview SR. Software Engineer (Mobile Engineering) for Retail Services & Systems, Inc dba Total Wine & More. Location: Boca Raton, FL. Leverage in-depth React Native or React experience to build performant, scalable, reusable components and to develop shared component libraries that enable rapid iteration. Responsibilities Translate designs from product owners, UX designers, and engineers into actionable technical requirements. Write clean, functional, testable code using prescribed architecture and frameworks. Develop and update shared component libraries to support multiple teams. Adopt a mobile‑first mentality to transform functional requirements into efficient, user‑friendly applications. Monitor, troubleshoot, identify, and resolve production issues. Collaborate with product owners, engineering peers, and UX designers to deliver high‑value business and technology initiatives. Contribute to improving existing functionality and enhancing the end‑user experience. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and version control processes. Travel nationally to HQ for meetings as needed, not to exceed 60 days per year or 5 days per trip. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field. At least 5 years of related experience in React and mobile development. At least 5 years of production software development experience using JavaScript ES6, HTML5, and CSS3. At least 3 years of experience with a strongly typed language. Experience with Jira or Rally and agile development practices. Background check, including drug screening, required.
