About Your New Job as Business Development Manager As the Business Development Manager Managed Resourcing,youwill drive growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within ourManaged Resourcing division.You will: Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects and turn leads into new business, focusing on FTE, project, hybrid, and embedded resource models.
Develop and present tailored workforce solutions to clients across the Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotech, and Medical Device sectors.
Negotiate commercial terms, lead proposals, tenders, and client presentations, and ensure sustainable commercial growth.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting client account growth via upselling and cross-selling.
Work closely with internal delivery, operations, and recruitment teams to ensure seamless onboarding, delivery, and long-term client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate client and pipeline records in CRM and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and market approach.
What Skills You Need Bachelors degree in a Life Science discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharma Sciences) or a Business degree with experience in a technical/scientific field.
Proven B2B business development track record in scientific services, contract resourcing, or managed workforce solutions.
Experience negotiating contracts and selling into regulated industries (pharma, biotech, medtech) is an advantage.
Results-driven, commercially astute, and experienced in solution-based selling.
Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
Highly self-motivated, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
