A Kells-based construction/engineering business is hiring a Purchasing Officer/Buyer to manage end-to-end purchasing and keep materials, plant, equipment and services flowing to support production and project delivery.
The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.
Key responsibilities Source suppliers, issue RFQs, negotiate pricing/lead times, and raise POs Track orders and long-lead items; escalate supply risks early Coordinate deliveries with Production/Engineering/Stores and site teams Manage returns, shortages and invoice/PO queries; maintain accurate records Requirements Purchasing experience in construction and/or engineering xyswxtq Strong negotiation, organisation and attention to detail Good Excel and familiarity with purchasing/ERP systems Apply: Send your CV and availability.
