This is an exciting opportunity for a Specifications Technologist to play a key role in bringing new products to market for leading Own Label customers.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across departments, and seeing products go from concept to supermarket shelves, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you'll be doing: Take ownership of product development projects from concept through to successful launch.
Work directly with customers to gather project requirements and manage product specifications.
Create, review, and maintain accurate product specifications and technical documentation.
Partner closely with the Development Chef, NPD, Quality, Production, and Packaging teams to deliver successful product launches.
Ensure all specifications meet customer expectations, food safety standards, and legal requirements.
Support HACCP activities and help drive a strong food safety culture.
Work cross-functionally to ensure products meet quality, production, and packaging requirements.
Keep technical documentation organised, accurate, and audit-ready.
What we're looking for: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline (preferred).
HACCP certified.
23 years' experience in a Specifications, Technical, or Quality role within food manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of food safety legislation, retailer specifications, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A proactive team player with exceptional attention to detail. xyswxtq
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
