Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to handle escalated alerts, investigate incidents, and perform vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with organizational standards and reduce security risks.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and Incident Detection: Handle escalated alerts, prevent potential intrusions from third party agents, and analyze log correlation to ensure alignment with security standards.
Incident Handling and Analysis: Triage security incidents, handle escalated incidents, assist in performing root cause analysis, and prepare reports that adhere to compliance requirements.
Threat Assessment and Analytics: Perform vulnerability scans, identify threat intelligence feeds, and recommend preventive measures to reduce exposure.
Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance: Coordinate with internal teams on security issues, maintain risk registers, and assist during compliance audits.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in Security Information and Event Management.
Experience with incident management and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and threat intelligence.
Compensation Estimated annual compensation ranges from $45,000 to $121,000, based on location, skills, and experience.
