Responsibilities
Provide Tier III routing and switching support, designing, testing, and implementing IGP, EGP, MPLS, VRF, and NFV/Service Chaining on an enterprise network.
Ensure proper routing protocols to optimize end‑to‑end performance across LAN, WAN, CAN, SAN, or data center environments.
Assist the government customer with identifying design objectives, specifications, and interoperability requirements.
Ensure system design adheres to industry standards, DOD standards, policies, directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices.
Develop presentations and briefings to stakeholders articulating gaps, requirements, and solution architecture.
Provide analysis on how operational, functional, and performance requirements will be met during design, test, and implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
Current DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) IAT Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+ce, CCNA Security, or CySA+.
CCNP Enterprise.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4–8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
Secret clearance.
