Leading high-impact structural design work for utility-scale renewable energy and substation projects, the full-time Structural Design Engineer - PE Licensed will create engineering plans, design foundations, and mentor team members in a remote environment. Key responsibilities
Create structural engineering plans and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects Design concrete or steel foundations to meet jurisdictional requirements Lead multiple projects and mentor staff engineers while ensuring compliance with safety standards
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering 5+ years' experience in a structural engineering design role In-depth knowledge of software tools such as RISA 2D/3D/Foundation and Enercalc Strong familiarity with relevant codes and standards including ASCE 7 and ACI 318 Ability to read and understand site studies and geotechnical reports
