IT Project Manager
Alaska Digital Technologies (AKDT) is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to play a key role in delivering high-impact IT and digital initiatives across Alaska. This position supports programs and projects spanning enterprise and local applications across petrochemical and business capabilities with a focus on value driven planning, disciplined execution, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in finance, project controls, and scaled agile and traditional project management. You will partner with other project managers, business stakeholders, financial analysts, vendors, and IT delivery teams to advance strategic priorities and deliver successful outcomes. We are looking for someone who listens actively, welcomes diverse perspectives, drives results through influence, and has a genuine curiosity for learning and applying the technical side of the oil and gas business and the IT systems that support it. Your responsibilities may include: Develop and track project plans, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, budgets, and risks Prepare status reports for leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned to business goals; escalate risks as needed Support product owner and business analysts with business case development, stakeholder alignment, budget preparation, vendor and alternatives analysis, execution, governance, risk tracking, and OCM planning throughout the SDLC Support and advise on both agile and traditional project management practices as applicable, including development of related artifacts Recommend appropriate project management tools and methodology (waterfall, agile, hybrid) based on project requirements Serve as scrum master for facilitating events, sprint planning, and execution Lead UAT administration including testing configuration, design, and execution Support transition of projects to ongoing support, lead knowledge transfer, capture lessons learned, and complete close activities Operational & Financial Support Support AFE preparation (FEL & EXE phases) and other financial documentation Support budget development, forecasting, monthly estimates and cost submissions, and year-end close activities for programs and projects as assigned Support third-party project controls including budgeting, plan-forward activities, MSA renewals, service confirmations, and invoice tracking Coordinate with third-party vendors across Alaska locations and provide light AV program coordination across Anchorage Tower, Kuparuk, Alpine, and Willow Basic/Required 5 or more years of experience in information technology 2 or more years of experience in project management 2 or more years of experience building and tracking project budgets Basic knowledge of SAFe Agile delivery and/or PMI principles PMP certification SAFe Scrum Master or other scrum master certification Experience with the following applications: S/4HANA, PIMS, GEP, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Jira, Microsoft Office Suite Education: (Required) Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, Information Science, or equivalent experience (Preferred) Master's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, Information Science, or a related technical field (or foreign equivalent) Benefits: Ongoing Training (RSO, Systems, Software Programs, OSHA Safety, JJ Keller, etc.) Continuous Employment Development and Learning Ongoing Advocacy, internal assets with HSE, Legal and HR teams and experts to aid in Employee Career Path and Advancement 401K Healthcare Group Medical Coverage & Healthcare for California only Dental Insurance Coverage Vision Insurance Coverage Basic Life Insurance & AD&D Long Term Disability Voluntary Short-Term Disability Direct Deposit Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts Cenergy is a dynamic, diverse, woman-owned company that has provided stellar support to our clients globally for over 25 years!
