To thrive/succeed as the Sales Support, you should have: Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality work and maintaining organized records. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel; experience with Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with customers, vendors, and team members both in person and over the phone. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with a collaborative mindset and professional attitude that contributes to a positive team environment. Your responsibilities as the Sales Support will include: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining order records, tracking project status, and ensuring timely communication with internal teams and customers. Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls, responding to inquiries, providing shipment updates, and assisting customers with order tracking and delivery information. Support project and sales activities by following up on submittals, assisting with parts quotations, and helping prepare complete and accurate submittal packages. Maintain organized electronic records through document management, file scanning, and accurate filing of customer, project, and product documentation. Coordinate outreach efforts with manufacturer representatives and customers regarding lighting orders, seminar information, lunch-and-learn events, and other sales support initiatives.
