Inside Equipment Sales Representative

This position entails selling or introducing products or services to established clients as well as tracking and following up on leads generated by PVS based on marketing.

Primary job duties include:

  • Address customer requests for orders, quotations, and lead times by email, telephone, or fax,
  • Develop and accomplish a lead generation plan, meeting or exceeding monthly or annual targets,
  • Identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to start sales process,
  • Cooperate with the Outside Sales force and the Sales Manager to determine essential strategic approaches for sales,
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects of the organization,
  • Outbound and inbound account management,
  • Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers, and internal sales personnel to support quotations, orders, and delivery,
  • Attend sales group meetings as required concerning sales targets or forecasts, and report on market situations,
  • Handle cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicate the changes with the related departments,
  • Coordinate with the Chemical division for status on related orders ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met,
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and supplier developments to identify sales opportunities and potential business impacts,
  • Emphasize service or product features and benefits, discuss credit terms, quote prices, and prepare sales order reports or forms,
  • Create and deliver qualified opportunities to outside sales force where appropriate,
  • Capture accurate and complete information in CRM Software.

Other duties may include any of the specific job procedures included in: S&H 18.1 PVS Nolwood Chemicals, Inc Buffalo Job Descriptions and Procedures.

Training requirements include:

  • New hire orientation,
  • Incident and Accident Reporting Procedures,
  • Hazard Communication,
  • Emergency Action Plan,
  • Personal Protective Equipment,
  • Fire Protection Plan,
  • Walking-Working Surfaces,
  • Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan,
  • Security Training,
  • Specific Job Procedures from S&H 18.1 that may be included as part of an employee's job duties.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements include:

  • Steel-toe work shoes,
  • Safety glasses,
  • Sleeved shirts,
  • High visibility clothing.

Additional PPE may be required based on the task or operation being performed. Refer to PVS's full PPE policy for specific requirements.

Salary: Dependent on experience; $55,000 - $65,000
