Main Purpose of the Job
The Foundations Design Engineer is a key role within the EA1N Foundations Package, sitting within the Foundations Package. The Foundations Design Engineer will be responsible for working with the design team to develop the requirements for Structural Health Monitoring within the TP for the EA1N wind farm, engaging with O&M and across the wider business to integrate best practice. The Project Engineer will collate the ITT technical data pack, establish evaluation criteria for the service, and collate a unified recommendation in relation to the Structural Health Monitoring contract. Working across our interfacing packages, the Foundations Design Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the technical requirements for all Transition Piece ancillary equipment (free-issue equipment) are understood, fully integrated, and fulfil the design requirements for the systems. Naturally, Health & Safety must be paramount. Throughout the process, the role is required to be on hand to provide expert, high-level advice, on everything from risk and interfacing requirements through to the latest technical developments.
