Maintenance Director

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Full Time Maintenance Director to join our healthcare team in a skilled nursing facility.

Rate $60K

Summary

Oversees maintenance and physical plant operations to ensure a safe, compliant, and well-maintained facility

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance operations and preventive maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with CMS, Life Safety Code, OSHA, and state regulations
• Maintain building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, generators)
• Conduct routine safety inspections and correct deficiencies
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and provide on-call coverage
• Manage vendors, contractors, supplies, and maintenance records
• Support emergency preparedness, infection control, and survey readiness

Supervision

• Supervise and train maintenance staff, as applicable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 35 years of maintenance experience; healthcare or long-term care preferred
• Knowledge of building systems and regulatory compliance
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
