Owning complex data engineering challenges, the full-time remote Principal Data Engineer will design and implement advanced data pipelines and architectures while mentoring team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Key responsibilities
Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex data engineering initiatives with significant business impact Provide technical mentorship and establish data engineering standards to enhance team capabilities and output quality Collaborate with product, analytics, and operations teams to translate complex requirements into effective engineering solutions
Required qualifications
7-10+ years of data engineering experience with a proven ability to build production-grade pipelines and platforms Deep expertise in data architecture, pipeline design, and platform engineering, including tools like Airflow, Spark, and dbt Strong proficiency in cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and services such as Snowflake or BigQuery Advanced skills in Python and SQL; proficiency in Scala or Java is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
