Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Research the market to identify new contacts & develop sales leads
Generate and develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships
Actively network the local area for each hotel to identify new potential and maximise share from existing contacts in both the IBT and meetings markets.
Proactively source new business and contacts to generate appointments and new business leads
Respond to sales opportunities to convert revenue and identify future business and new contacts
Utilise social platforms to identify business opportunity and generate new sales leads
Arrange and perform hotel show rounds / client appointments
Drive proactive sales initiatives from a hotel and regional angle
Work alongside our GC&E and reservations teams to maximise opportunity
Respond to client requests
Support the team with sales related administration
What are we looking for?
A self-motivated person who is passionate about succeeding in Hospitality sales An innovative approach and proactive hunter mentality Great inter personal skills, positive can do attitude and warm personality Confident telephone manner A people person to approach to sourcing new business and developing existing client base High level of I.T skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint The ability to prioritise and be flexible Excellent organisational and administrative skills Previous experience in a sales role and knowledge of Social Media is highly desirable but not essential Ability to travel as part of their role Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations Ability to work well under time pressure Excellent grooming standards Full UK Driving Licence preferred
