Whisper Woods of Smithtown Whisper Woods of Smithtown is looking for compassionate CNA/HHA s to join our resident care team! If you're looking for an opportunity to building meaningful connections and are passionate about serving older adults, we want to hear from you! As a CNA/HHA your main role will be to deliver care to assisted living and memory care residents. Primary duties include assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting. Status: Full Time Shift: 7am - 3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11p-7a CNA/HHA Duties & Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff. Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support. Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care. Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
Valid CNA/HHA license required Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
