Lead and manage a team of 6‑8 engineers, focusing on coaching, mentorship, performance management, and career development. Remain hands‑on with code reviews, production troubleshooting, and direct contribution as needed. Partner with Architecture, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations to identify, prioritize, and drive technical initiatives. Guide the team to deliver high‑quality software through strong execution, collaboration, and accountability. Own team health, performance, and development while fostering a culture of trust, growth, and ownership. Collaborate closely with Product and Design to align goals, priorities, and delivery timelines. Provide technical direction in partnership with senior engineers and serve as a key decision‑maker on trade‑offs. Lead hiring, onboarding, and team scaling as the organization grows. Champion the use of AI to enhance product development, engineering productivity, and accelerate innovation across the team.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive, hands‑on technical leadership as a Senior or Lead Software Engineer. 3+ years of people‑management experience, with direct responsibility for at least 4 engineers. Strong systems design and full‑stack development experience, including .NET, SQL, and microservices architectures. Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and supporting tools, practices, and processes. Demonstrated critical thinking, strategic insight, and analytical problem‑solving skills. Experience in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment. Experience building, deploying, and supporting solutions in AWS.
Bonus Points
Experience with containerization, AWS CodeBuild, Spinnaker, and Terraform. Experience building SDKs in Kotlin. Experience with mobile app development in iOS or Android. Experience with observability tools and best practices, including logging, monitoring, and alerting. Experience supporting high‑traffic, large‑scale global consumer and enterprise software platforms. Experience in the ticketing industry.
Pay & Benefits Pay Scale: $160,000 - $180,000 Bonus: Eligible under the current bonus plan.
