Job Summary JOIN OUR TEAM AS A CRISIS MOBILE ASSESSOR at Chicago Behavioral Hospital. In this essential role you will provide mobile clinical assessments, determine the appropriate level of care, and coordinate referrals to ensure timely access to critical behavioral health services. How You’ll Make an Impact Conduct mobile assessments to determine psychiatric needs and levels of care. Coordinate referrals and transfers for appropriate treatment services. Provide crisis intervention and facilitate pre‑certification of insurance as needed. Maintain accurate documentation, including DSM and Mental Status Exams. Communicate effectively with patients, families, referral sources, and internal teams. Assist with memorandums of transfer when coordinating care between hospitals. Qualifications Education/Licensure : Registered Nurse (RN) or Master’s Degree in a human relations field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling). Licensed to practice in Illinois as a mental health professional is preferred. Experience : Minimum of two years in psychiatric assessments; background in psychiatric hospital settings and direct patient/customer contact is preferred. Additional Requirements : Proficient in DSM and Mental Status Exam; knowledge of addiction and recovery fields; reliable transportation; ability to work flexible hours and participate in an on‑call rotation. Compensation This is a PRN role with a pay rate of $27.00 per hour.
