The Role
Drive a reduction in repair times through effective problem solving and strong technical skills. Provide technical facilitation, training, and leadership to deliver solutions that reduce downtime, waste, quality issues, and safety risks.

✅ What We're Looking For
- Qualified to a minimum of Higher National Certificate or Higher National Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline, supported by practical experience
- Proven technical expertise within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Strong problem-solving capability , with experience in root cause analysis of technical issues.
- Proficient in key systems and tools , including Microsoft Excel, PI Process Book, and SAP Planned Maintenance.
- Competent in risk assessment and change control processes, ensuring compliance and safe working practices.
- Experienced in leading root cause analysis and fault-finding investigations to drive sustainable improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to fault find and problem solve on a broad range of equipment in a variety of situations.
- Effective delivery of maintenance activities , to ensure smooth transition between maintenance and production availability of equipment.
- Take part in risk assessments and formulation of method statements to assist in safe undertaking of any activity.
- Identify parts for the purchasing of goods and services where these are necessary to conclude work.
- Fix breakdowns in a timely manner during their shift timeframe
- Level one problem solving including component failure analysis
- Detailed entry into Atlas of all breakdowns / known jobs.
