Job Description
AI Governance (AIG)
Engineering
team is part of the Data and AI Platform (DAP) technology organization
in
Visa. The team's mission is to provide
a Trustworthy AI - an
engineering solution for Visa to achieve centralized AI excellence across Visa.
We aim to develop, assess and deploy AI
systems
in a responsible and trustworthy way at Visa.

The AI
Observatory
product
provides an inventory of ML models
and AI systems
, oversight for
model's
full lifecycle, and governance of all
models'
accuracy, transparency,
fairness, and robustness
. We are also uplifting domain-specific models to the unified AI Governance
framework and
streamline the modeling efforts to a centralized AI excellence across Visa.

adapting to the advancement of Generative AI and keep our business miles ahead of our competitors. Responsibilities : You will design, develop, and
maintain
scalable and reliable AI governance
service
s. You will apply robust architectural principles to create
an effective
and efficient
solution. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including data scientists, product managers, and legal experts, to ensure compliance
of
AI systems with ethical standards and regulatory requirements. You will be instrumental in developing an advanced Responsible AI platform
utilizing
the latest Generative AI technology. You will address the evolving challenges in AI governance, ensuring the creation of responsible and trustworthy AI solutions. You will investigate and assess emerging technologies and third-party solutions, prototyping and strategizing their integration within Visa. This is a hybrid position.

Basic Qualifications * 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications * 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,
JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD * MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * 8+ years' work experience in the software technology industry. * Participated in all phases of development-including design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and monitoring of applications. * Hands on with Python or React.js skills, capable of reviewing auto generated code for potential issues. * Experience using code generators to create full stack applications. * Handled containers and orchestration with Dockers and Kubernetes * Experience working in an agile environment. * Evaluate software, write proof of concepts, and design new systems. * Keeping up with Gen AI trends is your hobby. * Strong understanding of agentic frameworks. * Experience with Gen AI models and developing applications that leverage their capabilities. * Handled AI Governance issues - Bias, Drift, Risk, Privacy and Security. * Published your work and delivered presentations on Gen AI topics to larger audiences. U.S. Applicants Only The estimated salary range for this positionis $169,100.00 to $ 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program. Work Hours Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
