Job Summary The Boeing Company – Space Systems Verification and Test team, El Segundo, CA. The System and Network Administrator (Mid‑Level) supports a 24/7 test operation, hardening and deploying special test equipment, and operates on 4th shift (night, weekend, alternate). Position Responsibilities Provide factory‑floor support to multiple programs; define & document test setups, deploy test software & configurations, troubleshoot, coordinate program requests, and support team requests to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. Develop, implement, and sustain tools that enable product security requirements. Utilize agile methodologies to plan, execute, and track product security statement of work. Develop and enhance system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements. Configure and ensure the security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used in design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support. Basic Qualifications Current CompTIA Security+ certification. Experience certifying Automated Test Controller (ATC) Server and Client. Experience certifying PTEX (Payload Test Executive) and MTEX (Modular Test Executive) Test Servers. Experience with recent versions of VMware (ESXi and vCenter). Experience performing system administration tasks on Windows and Linux hosts, including installing security patches and making configuration changes to support security requirements. Previous cybersecurity technical experience; 5+ years with private, corporate, charter, and/or military operations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent layer 2 and 3 networking experience. Experience with Linux servers, Windows OS, and network‑based storage systems. Experience in satellite test and STE operations readiness. Experience certifying power and payload satellite special test equipment. Pay & Benefits Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Summary pay range: $111,350 – $150,650 per year. Eligibility & Requirements Requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship. Must be a U.S. person per 22 C.F.R. §120.62. No visa sponsorship.
