Position Summary The Sales Engineer operates at the intersection of sales and engineering, articulating technology and product positioning to executives, business leaders, and technical stakeholders. They provide primary technical support for the sales force, actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage, and collaborate with sales teams to guide customers toward a commercial relationship.

World‑class presentation skills in delivering platform demos and presentations.
Direct support to customers for troubleshooting common errors.
Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
Clear articulation of technology value propositions.
Lead complex technical engagements to prove value of Harness solutions.
About You
Deliver compelling product demonstrations that tell a story of value to customers.
Represent the product at field events such as conferences and seminars.
Maintain current knowledge of technology changes and developments.
Have a background in software or DevOps, or prior experience working with developers.
Strong cloud knowledge and experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform.
Respond to functional and technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs.
Translate customer requirements to engineering teams.
Travel within a sales territory with minimal restrictions and occasional short notice.

Eligible Compensation OTE Range: $220,000 – $290,000.
Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
