Key Responsibilities Operate loading shovel to move, load, and distribute aggregates, asphalt, and other surfacing materials in our quarry.
Carry out daily machine checks, routine maintenance, and report any defects or issues promptly.
Ensure safe loading of materials in accordance with weight limits and operational procedures.
Work closely with site teams to ensure materials are supplied efficiently to trucks, and stockpiles.
Maintain a clean and safe working area, ensuring compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
Assist with general site duties when required, yard organisation, and stock control.
Follow site supervisor instructions.
Skills & Competencies Competent and experienced in operating a loading shovel.
Knowledge of aggregates, asphalt, and surfacing materials desirable.
Strong awareness of health & safety, especially around heavy plant.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility and reliability, with a positive attitude to work.
Qualifications & Requirements CSCS/QSCS card Previous experience in quarry, or construction environments preferred. xyswxtq
Full Irish driving licence.
