This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of plant operations while leading a multi-skilled maintenance team.
The Role Lead and manage the site maintenance and engineering function.
Deliver maintenance objectives, KPIs, and operational targets.
Oversee planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities.
Manage maintenance budgets and control engineering costs.
Provide leadership and technical support to the engineering team.
Prioritise maintenance activities to minimise production downtime.
Coordinate internal resources and external contractors as required.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
Manage site utilities and ensure continuity of essential services.
Support the development, training, and performance of the maintenance team.
The Candidate Trade-qualified in a mechanical or electrical discipline, or hold an engineering qualification, or possess equivalent industry experience.
Minimum five years' experience within engineering or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience leading or supervising maintenance or engineering teams.
Strong organisational, planning, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proven people management and team development experience.
Experience within food or FMCG manufacturing environments is advantageous.
Willingness to travel between sites as required. xyswxtq
