Location: Lombard, IL, US
Our client is growing their Finance team. This newly created position will be a key member of the team responsible for delivering business intelligence and decision support through dashboards, KPI reporting, financial valuations, pricing models, and strategic and operational analysis. The role supports annual budgets and five-year strategic plans, promotes data governance, and provides actionable insights across multiple segments of the business to inform strategic and operational decisions.
Essential Responsibilities: • Own and administer the Microsoft Fabric environment, including data pipelines, lakehouses and workspace management. • Build and maintain data models and BI Reports that serve as a reliable, single source of truth across the business. • Monitor data quality, proactively resolve issues and trouble shoot as needed. • Translate complex data into clear, actionable BI reports tailored for Executive Management, Finance, Sales or Operations. • Support budgeting and forecasting by building easy to use models and managing large data sets. • Develop and maintain pricing models and various analysis needed to support business operations. • Leverage AI models and advanced analytical tools to enhance reporting, identify trends, improve forecasting and support data-driven decision-making. • Assist in the creation of operational definitions and meaningful KPI's. • Support new business initiatives through insightful modeling. • Drive continuous improvement through creative problem solving, report automation, process enhancements, and documentation of business logic. • Establish and enforce data governance standards. • Partner closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with data policies.
Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in a data, analytics or BI role. • Microsoft Fabric and Power BI experience is required. • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and reporting capabilities. • Flexible and adaptable to the changing workflow and needs of the business. • Experience in the leasing industry is preferred. • Experience supporting business case development, scenario modeling, or strategic analysis preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders.
