Responsibilities
Create, manage, and promote execution of technical product sales, including execution of objectives and sales goals.
Manage a team that specifies products to meet customer requirements and needs.
Ensure that the team delivers compelling technical presentations that drive sales.
Partner with sales vertical leadership to develop comprehensive sales plans and forecasts to identify and produce a steady pipeline of prospects.
Utilize technical acumen to educate the team on products, competitors, and prospects.
Nurture relationships with key customers and suppliers.
Partner with internal technical and marketing teams to utilize customer insights and market intelligence to contribute to the product roadmap.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or Business
Sales experience in related industry (5-7 years)
Strong computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor (3-5 years)
Management of staff and programs (3 years)
Ability to travel 25% - 50%
Compensation $106,537 - $133,171 Annually. Offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
